I've always liked that approach from ISI, kind of "In you face" what you see is what it is at the time of development, no pretentiousness, not trying to delude the adience. Nice and refreshing to see.
There is plenty of that around in most games and advertising in general, i.e. the marketing machine doing too much talking, in the end, the product will speak for itself, no matter what you advertise![]()
Yes I feel that too. In a day and age where every piece of software that has a car included says 'simulation' somewhere on the box it really is mostly word-of-mouth that sells. We can do all the previews, advertising, etc that we want, but the majority will come from people talking on forums. That's just how it is these days. I've actually been pretty shocked in the past at how ineffective some types of advertising have been, stuff like that is great experience.
