In the original UI you could get a drop down box of the ai cars you wished to add during practice. I only seem to be able to add random ai cars with this UI..... or have i missed it somewhere?
With the current version download this is possible, when you click Add AI you get the selection. Does someone have the donation link at hand?
Small Bug Report When creating a virtual ride, the Driver Name is taken for Team Name and vice versa. Also a suggestion: Maybe the "Voting" Button could be relabeled as "Actions", because that's more accurate to what it does (Session Management, AI Management...)
Posting this also in bug forum, I am losing the escape button randomly. but when it is gone, I wont return and I have to force-stop rf or boot myself from my server. Not sure if related to UI or just rf2. happened with different mods and tracks today.
This is a very well thought out and great looking UI. Fantastic job, it makes the old rf2 UI obsolete. I love it.
Hello, I have developped a Weather Tool used to create wheather condition for rFactor2, http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/11398-rFactor2-Weather-Tool but your UI seems to override any existing weather and replace it by (Sunny / 29° Track / 29° Air) Could you please fix it, so players will be able to use your UI and my tool. Thank you.
shame the two projects can't be integrated ? two great mods working as one would be very nice, a great UI with great weather options
I just looked into it, it is not a problem of the minimalist UI, it is an issue related to the use of custom UI's in rFactor2 since the Kart UI has the exactly same behaviour. Seems that when you use a custom UI and you relaunch the game the wet file gets overwritten with the default weather, only with the default UI the changes you made to the weather are not getting overwritten the next time you launch the game. So the solution is to inform ISI of this and maybe they can fix it.
well, there's maybe a workaround to be tested. Instead of using the ISI Launcher, if you make a command file (e.g. 'rf2_start.bat') with these lines (granted the command file is in the same directory than rFactor2.exe, the game's wet file in sub-directory .\weather\ and the wet file created by your tool in sub-directory .\tool\): start rFactor2.exe copy .\tool\wet.file .\weather\wet.file the important point here is the "start" command (not the names of files in the copy example), which is not a blocking function ("blocking" meaning you would have to close rFactor2.exe before executing the copy command) in this way, right after starting rFactor2.exe, the proper file would overwrite the game's wet file. Then maybe your script would be used (I don't guarantee it, though it's worth a try)
Thank you for cool UI addon. I think that default UI of rF2 should have been like this Although max speed is displayed with MPH on the monitor screen, I hope that can be changed to KPH by rF2 setting. View attachment 12428 View attachment 12429
