Hello. Whenever i join a MP Server, it loads till i see the player list etc (loads till i can see 1 player) then it crashes and i get the error rFactor 2 has stopped working". It happens since the build 156 update and on all servers. I didnt change any settings. Regards
Nope. €dit: I was able to join a server today. There only was 1 player on the server and the race already started. I tried another server then with 4 players on it and it crashed again... I have absolutely no idea how to fix
I also have only 6 fps in the server list menu... Before the patch i had constant 120 fps. Please help
Ok. Personally I'd try that first, because although some people seem to fare better than others with updates they seem (on many occasions) to eventually run out of luck and need a clean install to put things right. But it's up to you whether you do that now or try some troubleshooting first.
Hey, thanks for the tipp. Unfortunately it didnt help at all.. Now it loads till it shows 1 player on the server, then it stops doing anything endless, and when i go to my desktop, i see the message "rFactor 2 has stopped working" ...........
According to your profile you run an overclocked system. Try at the stock frequencies and see what happens. Also check if you really have a fully clean installation. Under some circumstances there are leftovers after uninstalling, especially the Installed and Manifests folders. Cheers, Marcus
Hello, thanks for your tipp. I tried both this morning, but again... It crashes after it loaded 1 player on the server... Tried all graphic settings too but nothing helps.
From the advanced tab in the launcher. Multiplayer CLI. type trace=5 and click 'save parameters'. Run the sim until it crashes and look up the log file... trace.txt

One looks like it's from Dev mode. The other looks like a crash to do with Drift-620bhp.rfmod. Were these trace files already there or did you run a trace yourself? I would delete them and run the trace again while trying to join a standard mod online. Perhaps someone else has info on the problems that can arise from using the Documents folder during install.
Mh ok i deleted those files now. I did what you said but the file doesnt show up after i clicked "save parameters" and joined a server/crash.
have seen where existing player.plr and multiplayer.ini files become corrupt, causing similar issues. try to remove those two files (one file at a time, then test), the game will rebuild them to default. can't hurt to try.
