So I bought RF2 few days ago and it just won't start
I tried downlading drivers and changing resolution but it won't (It start in dev mode however)

Sometimes there is just a white screen and it says "not responding" in task manager and sometimes there is a black screen and a custom pointer that stay for an infinite amount of time
I already tried suppressing player and controller.json
And It says that I have a windows 8 version on the graphic config but I run the latest Win 10

If you have any tips, I'm all ears opened

Details of your system would be very useful @H94V
Graphics card, display resolution, number of displays, etc.

@H94V - have you installed all the relevant runtime programs in the Support folder?
You say it runs in Dev Mode though?
    How so exactly?

If you use the integrated display only and configure this to be the correct display in the graphics config what, if anything, do you get?

What are those runtime program? And Where does the support folder is located (inside game files I suppose?)?
It run fine whenever I click on the dev mode strating option, but the game crash everytime I click on the onboard display page in settings
There is no difference (still a black screen and custom pointer) whether it's the integrated monitor or the external one

There are some files in the folder "...\Steam\SteamApps\common\rFactor 2\Support\Runtimes\"
    Try running these.

The black screen and custom pointer I believe are OK as I get the same but then a graphic of the IndyCar and the option to continue.
That would imply that the game can't display the data for some reason.

I installed them but there is no improvement, I also tried to install the directx file but that does not change anything
After how much time does the IndyCar appears, I maybe not waited enough (I waited around 5 minutes)?

That should be happening much faster than that. When you are in Steam, verify there are no downloads occurring, those would be the only normal item delaying the Click screen.

I don't have any download, and it's not because of that, I have the exact same problem without any network connected

Ummmm.... The DX Config tool appears to be referencing the A: drive on your PC...
    Is that correct?
The A and B drives are "reserved" for removable/floppy drives... well in my experience they are.

So why would your PC expect to find the Config_DX11.ini on a removable drive?
And if that's the case, is rF2 trying to read a file that doesn't exist so can't set the graphics display properties?

So can you find the Config_DX11.ini file and upload that as an attachment?

I configured my 2nd ssd to be referenced as the A: drive because I thought that was better for sorting things
The config_DX11 file is located on the support folder inside game files
The file doesn't want to attached so I copy/paste what's inside
