    Hello out there

so I've tried for the past hour to get rFactor to run on my pc.. I've installed the currently 3 mods from your website and installed them correctly in the ''Manage Mods'' Tab, i've bought the licence correctly and nothing is locked for me, so all that should be good enough.

But upon trying to open the game either Single Player, Online race or Devo it starts up and then shuts down with a windows error:

rFactor have stopped working and is shutting down
Windows is trying to find a problem to this issue

    and then shuts down..

I'm running Windows Vista 64 bit and my spec is up to date and should not cause any problems. I've tried to run it as admin but nothing changes there, also tried to start it around the launcher, but then it says no mods is installed so I figured I need the script from the launcher to start

Anybody have a similar problem or have solved this issue?

    Best regards
    Søren Mosebo

Try removing all but one of the mods then try and start it, i have a simular problem on XP but can start it with one mod installed then i have to install the other mods in game if i want to use them or their tracks.

Enable HDR from launcher in config. That worked for me.

uninstall RF2 Then Reinstall if ot dosent work Go through the Register and Delete any RF2 fles 4 in total. Then Reinstall RF2- and Copy e Userdata Folder to a seperate folder for safe keeping... I found that messing with the ini files where giving me errors and crashed the game so I did as I said above and it works everytime (Im talking about the copy of the userdata folder.
