I am confident that it will be addressed eventually.

But if in the unlikely event that it wasn't fixed...you can bet i'll still be playing rfactor 2 simply because the physics (when not exploding) is just too good and enjoyable not to.

Having said that, i can completely understand where others are coming from with the sense of urgency over this for them. I only race on-line so i find a physics explosion a rare event but for those who enjoy racing AI, i can see it being a bit of a killjoy.

Thought I would post this. It's just a quick test really as I just got a camera capable of doing OK video quality. I Eq'ed the bass and trebble up a bit for the 370z engine and to me it sounds way more energetic now. How does it sound to you guys?

If to compare, this video (Physics, graphics, a sound) and rFactor2... rFactor2 looks as a garbage can... It is very sad...

 

Why iRacing video in rfactor2 beta videos thread? Well, it makes me want to try iRacing again but after driving rF2 I couldn't fully enjoy it. Felt like something was missing in the FFB. And, some weeks ago when I tried it, I couldn't map my H-shifter because the controller setup system was totally wierd.

And DmititryRUS, if both graphics, sound and physics are better, why do you not spend your time there in iRacing!?

rFactor2 looks good to me. Of course you can see differences in quality between ISI's older content and their newer content. Like the 1960's WCR mod doesn't look very good, while Brabham looks good to me. If only future mods are as good as Brabham or better, then I'm happy. I don't need more than that New Marussia isn't ugly, is it?

And when it comes to tracks... well, let's wait for Silverstone and see. Otherwise I've seen fantastic quality from modders like Feels3 so I'm not worried. I don't need more than that.

 

I not for the first time speak. Because iRacing is closed for Modinga.
I trust in ISI that they will correct graphics and all that is connected with it, but at this stage (Color, light, effects) look very much not beautifully.
Also it would be desirable that they would hurry. Long this beta test lasts.

 

Does sound a wee bit better for sure Duvel... deeper.

I too have adjusted the sounds in my GEQ to give more bass and it definitely helps a bit, made the MR01 sound a bit better too as it just has FISI sounds atm which is a little disappointing imo.
