Every time I try to start RF2 it crashes my computer.....goes into a windows restart. I've been using RF2 for ages, with no issues.....worked fine the last time I used it......closed down as normal the last time and now I can't get it to start. I've verified the files in Steam, I've tried to start from Steam and from the desktop Icon.....neither work. This is unacceptable....... Please advise.
Hey Lazza, I have no idea what I'm looking at in Event Viewer..... That said, if I roll back RF2 to Beta Version 1121 everything works as it should. It's just this last update with the new UI not working. Which is also odd because I've already been in the game with the new UI shortly after it came out and now it doesn't work....... I saw mention of a hotfix but I don't see where to get those (Or are those automatic through Steam?)
The updates are automatic, but don't expect a hotfix for your problem because it's not normal. There must be something in your computer that crashes the system when launch the 1122 Try to create a rF2 trace file and post it here
Created a trace file.......there's nothing in it...... There is a txt file created with the trace name.....0KB and no text in it......

It seems that Windows is sending the shutdown command to restart the computer. Is it possible that there is too much temperature? Or that your keyboard is sending the restart command because is broken? Or there is a Windows update in a loop restarting the OS?
