My system is an Alienware X51 R2 with a GTX760, 1.5GB. I changed the resolution from 720 to 1080 and am looking for recommendations on the remaining video settings that will yield improved graphics with good frame-rate performance. Thanks
Bit of trial and error to go through. Try everything maxed out, as high as they'll click to go to, then turn down things like shadows, reflections to where the performance is right, or feels right to you.
Therer are two threads I recommend to read in the forum. Although the exact settings did not work with my hardware you get a good advise where to look at. http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/13570-Nvidia-SLI-Possible-big-framerate-improvement http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/12633-4x-Better-Graphics-and-way-more-FPS-Guide With some trial and error I have been able to improve the frame rate on my computer from approx. 45 to 90-100 FPS. Mainly by setting the "SLI compatibility bits" with the "Nvidia inspector to 0x00500005 (Windows Assemssment Tool)" and without reducing either resolution or graphic settings significantly. I recommend making changes step by step - and don't give up it the FPS rate gets worser (during my trial and error I sometimes had only 20 FPS). If you like (and have similar hardware) you can try my configuration as well. View attachment 10608 View attachment 10609 View attachment 10610
