[rF2 Asia Series] Saturday Night Fever is back!

About the new championship, its looking that the saturday night slot is getting more and more participants, especially from our friends from Indonesia. And without the 2 races format, it would be friendlier to our friends from Aussie and NZ too. Maybe by starting an hour earlier.

And its Flat6

What do you guys think?

Yeah, it was fun Mara, though I was expecting to finish more laps hehe. And for me now TS is like a must, communication wise, no keyboard needed and can talk anytime.

I like the idea with Flat6, I am kind of done with the flipping Honda, at least on this track hehe.
Just like you said your traditional mindset on how you drive the car on that track is useless in this car hehe.
Especially hate that press on gas pedal and car goes straight lol, yeah damn FWD.

As for fun on that track, I would like if we had a few different cars available, say this Civic, but also NSX, some GT3 or even classic formula.
People can come and do runs like in real life tourist ver.

We should do oval every now again- some 2 mile track not superspeedway. Charlotte or autoclub speedway. I wander if lucky dog function is available during caution laps.

Yes...great idea. The potential of the platform is almost endless if u kinda think of it. U can go-kart and do a 24hr race. Soon even offroad.
Ovals...we can select a day where we shud do ovals...hmmm..im open to suggestion.
Warning - im a total noob when it comes to ovals
Abt the lucky dog thing, i think in the stock car release note they have that mentioned. altho it make no sense to me

Indeed. I have talked to Harris from SimRacers Indonesia. He has agreed on doing saturday night races with the Flat6 and will encourage participation from SRI. Great news.
I will work out a championship calendar with the track list that Brack has shared earlier.

But he requested the Honda races to be carried on, on another day. Perhaps the midweek.

 

On another development, we are close on partnering with NEObr in doing endurance racers from June to November, with test races starting next month. The races will be also on saturdays and it will alternate between our Flat6 Series championship.

As a return, im trying to work on getting races stream for our races. Fingers crossed.

We don't have to do it every week, we can do it just once, just for fun so everyone can get to experience it.

Yes, lucky dog basically mean, The first car that is the lap down, ie if p8 and 9 is a lap down- p 8 will get it first during caution- and he will need to go around pass everyone while everyone pacing/behind safety car , and he will line up at behind p7 but not a lap down anymore.
It should be fun experience i think especially its close racing pretty much entire session.

That is good idea. You don't even need everyone to be keen, they can always skip a week if they don't like the car
