    rf2 Asia will be running a Classics* server for short Wednesday evening fun races (evening in the Asian / Oceania region) Join in any time

    This week:

    The car/track downloadable from the server browser via GetMod

    Log in anytime after:
    Jakarta (UTC+7): 15:00
    Kuala Lumpur (UTC+8): 16:00
    Tokyo (UTC+9): 17:00
    Sydney (UTC+10): 18:00

    Race format:
    Practice Session : 15 mins
    Qualifying : 10 mins
    Warm up : 5 mins
    Race: 10 laps

    Rinse and repeat until we are all too sleepy

    Formation lap/Standing start
    Realtime (live) weather (maybe later)

    True, however I'm touting these as fun races. I'll be using an H-pattern shifter, and driving Johnny Herbert's Lotus with a replica of his Momo wheel (leaving Mika's Lotus for someone else) - so that is realism enough for me.

    Let's see what everyone else wants before deciding

    I am now with manual clutch basically for every race. It definitely adds to realism when you need to make sure you don't stall the engine at start or during a spin/crash (there is start button but then you lose those few seconds), and we know it does happen in a real race, too. But, yeah, since it's for fun, better not to force people to use it, especially if they have two pedal set only. :)
