Thanks for feedback on tracks. We will run the tracks that people voted on first and then re-visit what we want to do after that. Tracks in bold are top ten tracks according to rF2 MatchMaker Statistics:

    - Mid-Ohio (3 votes)
    - Palm Beach (2 votes)
    - Nuerburgring (2 votes)
    - Sebring (1 vote)
    - Croft (1 vote)
    - Texas World Speedway 3.0 (1 vote ; edit - was 2.9 but 3.0 was '69 can-am layout)

Tracks not voted on but T70 run on historically:

    - Silverstone (may want to wait until bumps & optimizations are complete)
    - Snetterton
    - Laguna Seca
    - Zolder
    - Hockenheim
    - Watkins Glen
    - Kyalami (nominated by another driver via multiplayer chat)

Tracks T70 not historically run on:

    - Aintree
    - Sears Point
    - Poznan
    - Topeka (Ranked #19 on rF2 MatchMaker Statistics)

    Fantasy tracks:

    - Essington (may want to wait until updates are complete)

First post edited to correct Texas 3.0 layout which is what was run by 1969 can-am.

    Huh? :p

LOL. So much for attention to detail :p. My 6 year-old daughter picked out the pictures and I put them together quickly without even noticing :p. Too funny.

Edit - For the record the above image is not specific to this or any other event. It is the header image from the league website for branding purposes and is intended to reflect the general spirit of historic racing and revival events. There, I said it :p.

VERY rough notes and only from a few sessions but thought I'd share anyway:

    Car = '69 G6

    General notes:

    - Smooth throttle, respect power
    - Don't overdrive
    - Maintain tire temp

    Setup:

    - Lowered tire pressure
    - Increased front camber
    - Decreased front roll bar
    - Gearing closest final drive with 4th gear tall enough for longest straight

T1 - Brake point, apex, balance
T2 - Keyhole - Brake early, take set, apex, throttle modulation on track out
    T3 - Flat out
T4 - Brake in time and take set but allow greater speed into turn and trackout deep as track is deceptively wide
T5 - Take set, speed, allow slide for grip
T6 - Take set and smooth through T7
T7 - Wide entry, apex, balance over crest
    T8 - Smooth, speed, balance
T9 - Slow, apex, track out wide, sideways slide, balance, on gas as fast as possible
T10 - Flat out but smooth weight shift and prep for T11
    T11 - Apex & turn-in, turn-in & apex
T12 - The Carousel - Smooth, decreasing radius, nail gas as soon as pointed at T13 apex
T13 - Shift into second at apex, modulate throttle, maximum speed to finish line

What is the recommended temperature? How do I activly maintain my tire temp? Do have to wobble on straights or how can I influence the temperature without drifting every corner?
    Thanks

80-100°C is recommended range. My biggest challenge personally is keeping temps down and avoiding overdriving the car. I have never had a problem getting the tires up to temp.

Apologies to anyone who joined the server because I was at the track over the last several hours as I was expecting to return to my PC but became unexpectedly ill and forgot I was at the track. My policy is to never be at the track and away from my PC for more than a minute or two. If I have to be away for more than a minute or two then I will leave the track and come back in when I return to my PC. So (last night being the exception) if you ever join my server and I am not lapping the track or immediately responsive give me at least a minute or two and I will join you. Fairly often I miss people because they join and leave if I do not respond in ten seconds. And this is rational behavior since they are probably assuming I am not close by given that other admins leave their car at the track when away for long periods of time. I do not do this because it wastes people's time loading the track who are joining to race or practice with me. So apologies to those who joined overnight and it won't happen again.

Pretty solidly in the 25s now after being within hundredths for about 50 laps  All good now, though. :D

Feel like I'm playing a trombone with the throttle through the twisties in second gear :p

I tried to tell you already that for safety purposes times below 1:25 are strictly prohibited at this track and will result in immediate DQ :p
