Perhaps one of those "DOH" moments on my part, but how do I get rid of the overlay in the replays in order to take screenshots or video? I can't seem to find the setting in the controls section.
I think I mashed every key on the keyboard in frustration trying to figure this out, but perhaps I missed the return key, LOL! Thanks Luc - - I'll give it a try when I get home from work.
I think I remember a thread/post where someone else was having trouble with the replay overlay and Enter had to be mapped before it worked iirc... Never had to map it myself but if it doesn`t work, then perhaps look to see if a button is assigned to it.
Probably in the same league but with the overlay gone, is it still possible to start/stop the replay?
Yeh Hypernurbs... the direction arrows (beside or close too/underneath) the Enter key. Iirc Up stops playback, Down is for slow motion and Left/Right arrows are for Rewind and Forward. Plus if you hold down slow motion and also Rewind/Forward it`ll go back or forwards in slow mo.
Not sure if it's still the case, but in the past Spacebar would pause the replay, arrow up would pause for as long as you keep the button pressed, and left/right would rewind/FF at normal speed. Control+Left/Right would rewind/FF faster.
Therein lies the problem though. What am I looking for under controls to map it if I do indeed need to do that? I found a few items that sounded like they could be it, but none got rid of the overlay.
the only thing mapped to ENTER key is "LCD mode" changing that LCD mode mapping has no effect on the replay overlay. replay overlay looks to be hard coded to the ENTER key, best i can tell.
Hoser , have a look in the controler .ini and see if you have the right value , 1 should have the "enter key" working to remove overley .. Keyboard Layout Override="1" // 0 = default, 1 = try Windows conversion, 2+ = attempt to use one of the existing supported keyboard layouts http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/8285-Problem-with-the-replay?p=108423&viewfull=1#post108423 Thank JohnyB for the find (if it works lol)
Yeh kro... that`s the thread I referred to earlier. Nice find (or good memory) Forgot all about the Keyboard Layout Override="1" info...
