Exactly my sentiments - and BTW great fun at Sebring!
On a skinning note for the Megane
Tried to create a car so can use my own skin as I do in other mods.... but not happening
In tuning I create directory then the popup comes up for car info and I fill in the Name, Team, Number etc - then click accept but no new car appears in the Megane 1.02 car list.
Any ideas why this is happening and how to fix?
Is it just me, or do show the left and right mirror, from outside view, nothing?
For me it`s working, maybe you missed the part to put in an alt skin into the new directory?
//Edit: the only complain i would have, the used car number isn`t shown in the car list...but i guess this is a rF2 bug and not Megane related.

Sorted. It was a duplicate naming thing...
Have noticed driver name on rear window (see attached image)
How does one change or get rid of this?
While we at it how does one get the number on the front windscreen?

You have to pull out the WINDOW of the mas file...

What you do is, you change the name and the number and you make the alpha channels the same as the rgb-channel where the name is and it'll be a solid decal on the glass, as it should be (default is slightly transparent)
And then save as DDS, DXT5
Then you put your main skin and call it for example peevee_alt into a mas file
Then you put your window skin and call it peevee_altWINDOW and put into the same mas file.
Then you call this mas file peevee_alt
Then you put it into here: (SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\)rFactor 2\UserData\player\Settings\ISI_Renault_Megane_Trophy_2013\MT2013_01
Will we eventually see the old liveries ported over to this new model? I really liked the original Megane liveries!
Tim credited RMT with the new 3D model and the new template is heavily based on the body template for their WSGT2 Megane Trophy V6 mod available here: http://www.bsimracing.com/wsgt2-megane-trophy-v6-rmt/
Included with that old body template download are two other files for the car's greenhouse, one for the exterior windows (named RMT_Megane_Windows.psd) and one to make the windshield banner visible from within the cockpit view (RMT_Megane_Cockpit_Window.psd). I haven't been able to make the cockpit windows work, but the RMT_Megane_Windows.psd works well for customizing the driver name, numbers and banner or whatever else you'd wish to add to the glass. Note the .psd file uses the plural "windows" while the .dds needs to be singular "window". Follow Bjørn's naming conventions for inclusion in your skin's .mas file. Perhaps ISI could be persuaded to ask RMT for an official WINDOW.psd.

This is a excellent upgrade to this car the only let down is NO adjustable gear ratio's ??? come on ISI they are geared too short for longer faster tracks like Bathurst 250kmh down conrod on the rev limiter takes the fun out of it please fix
That might be part of the spec series IRL, so the real teams might have fixed ratios. Dunno myself
