It shouldn't either, since FE is a lot on-throttle-oversteer on exit if you watch it.
Nice easter egg - invisible wall. Why can't I disable attack mode in singleplayer? Competition - no. FE leagues - are there any? Now you can't even play offline because you get disqualified.
You have to do 3 attack mode runs in order not to get disqualified.
Which, when the AI can't do Attack Modes isn't right.
Either make the AI do Attack Modes, or allow us to turn Attack Mode off.
I've now abandoned the FE cars, which is a shame as they are a hoot to drive.
@Marcel Offermans Surely this can be changed so us mere mortal single players can turn Attack Mode on/off easily through the UI?
I agree with you.
Of the content, I only have 2 tracks missing - Berlin and New-York, but I don't see the point in buying if it can't be used.
It's not clear to me who tested attak mode before it was released? It's an obvious mistake, isn't it?
offtop: what excellent GTE/LMP2/DPi content has been released and how negligently FE has been treated. I think FE has become the face of RF2 - it's an amazing series that the other sims don't have. A somewhat negligent attitude - halo has low textures, attack mode does not work offline and it cannot be switched off. How does this even happen?
Surely there is a disclaimer stating that this DLC cannot be used for offline racing when buying it? If not there definitely should be.
This is just a bug, because S397 did not teach the AI to use attack mode, but for some reason left it for the player offline.
Maybe its "just" a bug. But they must know - and they definitely know that these bugs usually takes years to fix. So a disclaimer is imo needed until they (perhaps) fix it.
That's what upsets me...
Invisible wall means you are not on an FE attack mode compatible build.
I don't really know what you're talking about.
I use FE 2021 and Monaco ePrix.
It annoys me, as this content I've paid for, which used to work before, now with Attack Mode it (still does) but doesn't at the same time.
The AI can't use Attack Mode - therefore I don't want to use it either.
In a tight race, swinging right @ Berlin to get to the Attack Mode area will cost you quite a lot of places, which, you'd be lucky to get back even with the extra boost. And you've got to do it 3 times.
Surely there are plans to rectify this?
help !, crash course for Formula E, questions:
1) why when I drive I always stay in first gear, and I can't change gear or up and down?
2) why are there only 4 circuits and only citizens?
3) do I have to drive this car like a normal Formula 1 or do I have to change my driving style?
1) FE have 1 gear - its electro.
2) Because the others haven't released yet. Or they never will. It's not a Formula E 2021 game, it's a pack.
3) A completely different driving style. The FE has no slicks and an electric motor.
ok, but what driving style should I adopt ?, it seems to me the car is very understeer, is this normal?
It means you are on an old build of the game.
another thing I don't remember, how do you set the driving aid to visualize the ideal line to do in the car on the asphalt ?, I need to learn the new circuits, thanks
Look at the tyre temps when you leave the pits - from memory they are very cold, let them get up to temp before gunning it.
since I start from 0, I don't know electric cars, you can put here some good setups for this car, thanks
I'm not sure RF2 has ever had this feature.
Yes, because in the new one the replay is stuttering.
Try changing the differential. But I don't see much point, since the standard setup feels good, you just need to get used to it.
Usually the problem is only with braking - you need to reduce the force.
