For an overcast day your grass looks perfect. But 90% of the time the game looks overcast even when it is sunny.

First of all a very big THANK YOU for this track. I´ve spent a lot more time on the NoS than on all other tracks combined. And it´s really nice to see how it gets better and better. As soon as paypal finally receives the money I´ve sent last week, a little donation will be made. I also downloaded the sync, I hope I´ll get it to run on my linux laptop, so I can keep seeding (won´t seed on my gaming rig, too much noise and power consumption).
The darkness should be fixed though. And the aiw could need some tweaking, the AI cars drive some strange lines sometimes, the right hander at Steilstrecke for example, or they slow down way too much at the Mutkurve - but I´m not sure if this is rFactor´s AI or the aiw.
It´s nice to see the progress, but it gets a bit confusing in the last days, what about a monthly release or so?
Anyway, fantastic job, the Nordschleife is the top reason to get rF2, ISI should be glad, they make a lot of money just from this in my opinion.

If I want those available in all my tracks do I drop them in the rf2 program directory or rf2 data? Or core or where?

    How do I do that?

Do you mean having textures lighten by around 20%

I have lighten it up a bit further, with the same saturation, and here is what I end up with:

    Good lord :) You're a pro :)

    Those trees are looking awesome!

By the way, feel free to use any textures you want from Nord, as long as my stuff stays within the rFactor community, I don't mind it getting re-used.

Feel free to browse those two pdfs, if you want any trees you like in those, let me know, I'll send them to you.

I'm synced, you can quit your client now. That was easy, wasn't it? ;)

    All the best, Uwe

EDIT: I was addressing pleclair here, all others: Please seed ;)

That's a bit too fluorescent on the green. Compare the blue sky in even this brightened shot with Tosch's Essington sky just up the page (which looks OK as does everything else in that shot). See how much darker your sky is by comparison? The trees, of course, are also darker by comparison and would be even if the lighting direction was fixed because they are affected by the overall settings that are making even the sky too dark for sunny mid-day.

Here is a quick edit. I have adjusted the colors for trees, gras, curbs, fixed a lot of normal maps and adjusted the hdr profile. Look at the sick post gamma settings. ISI standard is 1.8. I use most of the time 2.0-2.2 and this is 2.6!

The sky is the biggest problem. The brain gets big input from sky color and applies the impression of time of day. You have been learning that your whole life.

1PM, not dark at all for me.

Please don't mess much with the brightness, maybe just a tiny little bit less dark. 20% is way too much. Remember the sky in rF2 is messed up, other things aren't finished. Leave the textures as they should be and the game will catch up to it.

1PM is also fine for me, certainly not dark at all...

Still seeing a lot of trees like this though:

Only had a very quick test so not looked around the whole track. Things are getting better though from the last version I drove. :)

The Essington shot has no apparent problem.

(But, yes I am aware of the larger issues.)

Are these faint black lines AMD graphical glitches or are a problem with the textures? It seems to occur above a particular pine tree and particular type of 'background group of trees'.

Obviously the red lines are of my own doing and not an AMD bug.
