This is an interesting point in bold - and one that people often (always) fail to reference - iRacing have had many, many issues with big events that they learn from and use to make improvements and move forward to where they are now (still not fault free all the time it must be added) - LMV is in the 3rd year... and last year was near perfect....
In the early days many of these were also made out by people to be the final nail in the coffin and the death of the service. The ACC eSports DDoS thing last year was probably even bigger at the time. The passage of time seems to sort out most bad press. In this case it looks like all it took was a week for the troll farm to move over to tearing Rennsport a new one. People can be so fickle can't we.
Overall it is very strange it seems to go in waves there is mostly a praise, then there is mostly a criticism. Everything is waving like huge plankton with severe lack of individuality. Sure there are always some bad stuff, but I think people who desperately wants games with no issues should just go and play chess. But then they would probably complain about how figures are too limited, or board is too small, or it just lacks some je ne sais quoi.
