Hi, i like to know, if it`s maybe possible, to use relative pathes within the gen file? The reason behind my question is, i like to use 2 different version of HLGLO_DS.GMT and HLGLO_PS.GMT. Thanks in advance for your answers.
Hi Juergen, there is no need to use relative paths. Just name them different (for instance HLGLO_DS_ver1.GMT and HLGLO_DS_ver2.GMT). It works and you have no wrong light glows in devmode when you have more than one model loaded at the same time. For Apex mod all cars have different names for the glow gmt's in version 0.930.
Ah, ok. Many thanks for your reply. I tried different name conventions (e.g. HLGLO_DS2.GMT), except the one with underscore
For optional white headlights (rally car style) //Edit: Option1 = Standard Headlight (working) Option 2 = Optional Headlights (not working)
Did i (again ) missed something? Using e.g. HeadLightglows with another name than hlglo_ds.gmt and hlglo_ps.gmt didn't ever work in rFactor 1 (except using a manipulation with different MAS files) and didn't work in rFactor2, the last time i've tried it. Where has that information been published, that the use of different named Lightglow gmts is possible now?
After a lot of not working attempts...it`s working View attachment 18783 Many thanks Tosch & redapg for suggestions!
Thank you Tosch. I really missed that. What i don't understand is, that ISI don't publishes such things "more noticeable". E.g. to be able to use different Glows for the Head- or Rear or other lights, was on the Whishlist since the soon rF1 Versions. Anyway, good to see that it can be done now!
