Go ahead Malek1th usually uses default skins so he can take Marussia. And Canastos can have free choice...

There were one more skin (Williams Senna), but it looked like the file was much larger than these two. Not sure if it is good to have big skin files loaded to the server?

Only has impact on your connection when the user joins and when new users join that need to download the skin.Let's just avoid big ones since you are running on local connection.

 

If I join, I will definitely use Senna skin, since it's same size than the others, 5,33 Mb (just checked)
Don't worry about bandwidht impact, skins transfers will happen slowly without noticing; the fact of a player joining causes more impact than the skin itself

About the busy thing, it happens that sometimes I'm home at that time, and if I am, it uses to be a moment to spend some time with family, but a hobby is a hobby

Great racing tonight, at least the two races I could finally run
About the lag, I also think it was because of skins, but that's no reason for leaving the room, specially two people who I told to wait for the transfer to finish (by the way, bit rude of then to write in spanish when joining a foreign server)
Liked the car and the track selection (I told you before ), the pity is that race was over when I was starting to get the rythm, haha

If driving a F1 car is really this challenging in the real life also then I admire those drivers even more

I got good practice and found better setup and did some PB times (I think) so I find much good from those races

Look at the Monza result file and "graph1" in there... some grazy stuff

I think we could avoid the lag if everyone would join the server as soon as we start at 20.00. Then there would be enough time to load all the skins. But maybe too much to ask... would be a shame to give up custom skins.

Good races yes. I'm very interested what the real difference was between the state of our cars, but no I idea how to check.

I think you have to less push the car. Do you break with left foot? I do with right foot. That did the trick for me with my driving style. It's much better to break and accelerate with right foot like in real life, cause you drive less restless and you take the time to break.... and then accelerate without keeping to break and correcting in the corner, which (when you do) mostly causes you to lock up cause you are trying to correct a bad turn in.

What plugin you use? Maybe we can run a test or something today (if you got time)?
