Hi guys, I wrote CarStat for rFactor 1 and would like to do the same for rFactor 2, but there's one big hurdle to leap over. In rFactor 1 I could just open the different TBC, HDV, VEH,... files and read my 'stats' from it. But with the new rfmod-packages this ofcourse isn't possible anymore. So my question is simple: is or will it be possible to "read" or extract the rfmod-files? If so: how? I hope there's a way, because I think CarStat was a well-used program. Thanks!
So, with Senna94's help: when installed the mas-files withing the rfmod-files are unpacked. The data that I should have is *somewhere* inside the mas files. You can open those mas files with the mas-utility, but here's the question now: can you use a commandline function to batch/auto-unpack the contents of those mas-files?
Bump! Can someone from ISI tell me if the MAS-utility can interpret command-line arguments? If so: what are these? If not: will this ever be added? If not²: can we get information on the .MAS file structure so we can figure out ourselves how to unpack them? (it's a far reach, I know. Copyright and stuff... )
