I know caster can be a hot topic, but the car is done based on manufacturer data. They don't guess at values and then ask the manufacturer when someone in the community questions it. Have you found a manual or something that suggests it's wrong?
Found the manual, but no mention of it, so I asked to the manufacturer to confirm it. Hope to hear soon.
One thing i know is that the value itself doesn't tell whole story. 2.9 degrees seems low but for the suspension geometry/position that could be good enough. so the angle itself can vary from car to car but what matters more is suspension geometry.
Good point for sure, along with how the car actually drives in practice too. Look forward to hearing from the OEM.
