In tracks where you have multiple layouts like Estoril, how does track groove is set for the crossroads (ie where the two layout are present) ? In order for the groove to be seamless in both configurations, For estoril for instance does it needed to have 2 copy of the tanque curve and the chicane but with a different uv mapping for the groove in function of which layout we are using? Is there another way to modify the groove path than with the spline texturing fonction of 3dsmax? Is there a workaround in blender or 3dsimed? Thanks
different meshes with different uvw indeed. It is quite fiddly uvw unwrap spline mapping, and then manual unwrapping / scaling to get it to align up
