I have paid for the sim, activated it and have tried the 1966 cars and both tracks, on and off line. Sometimes when I click the shortcut to start the launcher nothing happens at all. I have tried running it as administrator and XP compatibility but nothing happens (I'm running Win 7 64bit). The question is - as soon as you click the shortcut does this contact the ISI server straight away? (I'm assuming this is the case and that the server is loaded...hence so long to go to the launcher). Is this the case?
Also note that there can only be one lunahcer running at any one time. So make sure there is nothing hanging in the task manager name "rfactor launcher.exe"
I have the same problem, when I click any of the three options, the loading screen appears and disappears, and nothing happens. I'm on Windows 7 64bit. Any solutions, please? I have bought the game.
