Qualifying pace vrs Race pace

I’ve always had this issue and wondering if there is a solution or workaround.
The ai in qualifying don’t seem to use low fuel, it’s like when practice starts through to the race that they always a full tank - there is never any difference in lap times ftom either practice, qualifying or race. Is there a way to make AI use low fuel for at least qualifying? Even if it meant reducing the fuel tank capacity say from a standard 80l to 12l for just qualifying or any other workaround?

 

If nothing New was implemented in the last beta/RC Versions, there is no Way to set different starting Fuel Amounts for specific Sessions.

 

The only thing to do, is you do Qual with race fuel setting.

 

Thanks for your responses - pretty silly they never factored that cars actually use low fuel to qualify.
