Lolol FISICS!! Lolol thanks for makin me laugh at 2:45 am when I was just finally starting to fall asleep, dammit.
I think theres more to it. I think it has to do with them working on and experimenting with offroad physics. Probably something basic to get out in the public to assist modders with offroad tyres and stuff.
Luis' response, to ISI opening up even further opportunities (during their personal time!) for the rF2 modding scene, was indeed quite absurd.
This again makes me think of sidecars.... how about it using hotswap..... but instead of hotswap, hotstay?? The passenger can get in your vehicle, but only have control over the passenger leaning I know even the quad bikers would be hanging off the side in the corners, we haven't got that luxury yet. I lost count of how many times I barrel rolled
I really hope ISI notices the positive response to this experiment. There really is a lot of interest in dirt/off road simracing.
Thank you for this nice addition. Not the most immersive experience but fun nevertheless (because it's little weird to drive this with a wheel ) Took some time to find good settings for this. I raised steering range to 160 which felt much better imo. Had to but smoothing to 4 or it would have killed my wheel (those damn rocks etc. ) I guess when this will be improved there will be this "dig into road feeling" Great start and much needed addition
That would be awesome! Could use a wheel, joystick, or button, or on a gamepad a d-pad, or better yet, the analog triggers or joystick for movement. Then when ISI implements a chatting feature (still suprised this hasen't been added, thought this would have been part of the original public release 2 years ago) then just imagine how cool it would be working with and talking back and forth with your partner. Ya it'll drastically improve the behaviour dynamics of the vehicle as well as you'll get the low grip and sliding of a low friction surface like you do now, but combined with the grip and "bite" from the tyres digging into the surface rather than just having such a small contact patch constantly in a sllliidddeeee over the top of the surface like you have now.
As stated in my reply, what appears to have been missed is his previously banned account and all his other actions in and around the forum. Enough people have made this response, and had no action, for you to probably not assume what you have. But I guess that inaction could be missed as well.
Well, considering we've always said, and multiple times, that we're not going to do voice chat, I'm a bit confused by your post. There's plenty of third party options, free options, that do what we'd do just as well and in some cases better in terms of the freedom of usage, why would you want us to?
Lots of posts. Tim never did that the last two years Im here, quite the opposite. Very unfair to accuse him of that, unless you havent seen much around here, and then you shouldnt judge things you dont know about.
