Prototype cars.

Please can we get a officially licensed prototype for the game I think this would be amazing!

I understand that ISI have a good relationship with Panoz so do we expect to feature one of their prototypes in the game?

Also the Delta wing has links to and I heard rumours about it do we know if ISI have made a decision?

I think it would be amazing to get a modern le mans car to. I would guess Toyota would be easier than Audi to license (cheaper?) but if we got one of these I think it would really help boost the game. Or Rebellion I have no idea what they would be like to license?

I'm sure this is something that has been posted before but I couldn't see an actual wishlist thread for Prototype cars.

I believe I did read tim posted somewhere he had talked to ACO? So maybe there is something there.

If anyone knows any information or has any specific cars they think would be good/possible to license might be good to post them.

 

There's a modder working on P1 and P2 cars right now. Once it is converted it'll be released (it's being converted with permissions from rf1)

Mostly from the GRID mod but also from other sources. Some are one-off cars.

 

We need a Proto by ISI.
Maybe they already have one, and work on it (HPD maybe ? Or Lola ? There is plenty of possibilities.).

Look at the F1, there is mods but the best are made by ISI.

I don't see any modern protos But there again, this is not the final car lineup either. They are still pursuing licenses, so who knows? In rF1, the best cars were modder-created mods, not the ISI created ones though.

 

You're right, but we're talking about rF2, and I'm sure you've seen they don't do the same process.

 

Yes, I could not agree more. ISI does an amazing job with car mods, and we are desperately missing a LMP1 or LMP2 right now.

 

There's an LMP1 and LMP2 open source mod that's around somewhere.

 

I took part in the 6 hours of Mid Ohio, so I know. ^^

 

That Pescarolo can be a good car, the aero is just screwed up. It needs development. What we have is kind of like an alpha.

 

Nothing would please me more, than to see the LMP-1 Roadster-S Panoz or the 01 Evo. No, I lied.. a Cadillac Northstar LMP 02 too.. lol.

 

Wouldn't expect any prototype (at least LeMans Prototype) from ISI within the next 12 month. Otherwise they would had announced it last week during the LeMans-Week (like the did with indy 500).

 

What about a 917/30, now I,d like to see someone simulate that lol.

 

Yeah, I'm sure when silverstone was first announced they said there would be endurance content around the same time, I guess I got pushed back Like you say if they were going to surprise us it would of been during Le Mans.
