iam trying to install this thing that costs $8 p/m to download and install mods for rfactor2. My problem is when i try to install it iam asked for the destination file...the rfactor exe and when i search for it i go to the rfactor2 folder within program filesx86, i can see the exe when i just go to the destination file without using the client install to find it, but when i use the client install to locate the exe it doesnt show up,it shows the folders within the main rfactor2 directory but i cant get to the files within the bloody folders, like bin64 has the exe but i cannot get into the file i get errors when i try to configure it (the rfc client) with the game . I dont know what to do, i tried to download the F1 2014 mod but it just downloaded it in gamedata format, didnt install. I must be doing something obvious wrong but i cant work it out. Help please. This is part of the error message i get when i try to configure the client to ISI Rfactor2 configuration.... Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue , the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately. Index was outside the bounds of the array. Then when i click on DETAILS, i get this message... Please help guys, like i said its probably something simple but its out of my grasp!
Does the rFc downloader even support rF2? I was not aware it has been updated to do so. I think your first point of call is sending them a email and make sure it does.
And, just so you know, rFC is nothing to do with ISI. The client is not required to install mods for rF or rF2. I wasn't aware it supported rF2 either.
You're better off looking up a install tutorial here from the forums or youtube for a few minutes, and saving your money, than giving that company any cent.
