it is possible for cars you can change materials with, meaning for example cars you modded yourself. But on cars that are already packed, if their materials max ref isnt high enough (read as very high) on such cars it will not be possible
regarding the accounts... I know they got hacked a few weeks ago sot hat could be reason... I had some issues posting the skins as well. I chose to post at no Grip for two reasons... first it's a permanent location and it also gives the community some exposure... and IMO one of the better sites for this sort of stuff.... Let me know if you still can't get to them... if anyone knows of other similar sites I can post let me know... Also they have responded fairly quickly to my questions, concerns....(make sure you email some that is currently on-line.) Thanks everyone... that's the least I could do for the rf2 community...
Hello, I made a fictioonal skin for the URD Venom inspired on a past Viper livery, the famous red 91. View attachment 13260 The problem I can't solve is that from cockpit view the hood looks pink and not red. View attachment 13261 Can someone give me a clue. Thanks.
Probably depends on reflections. It doesn't look strange IMO, but if you want to you could try to darken the alpha layer. Nice skin.
Thanks Hedlund for your kind comment. Surely I made something wrong, I tried to play with the alpha channel of the layer background (which is the one with the red colour) to no avail. I thought the transparency of the alpha channel controlled reflections of the whole skin (more or less glossy). In the garage the car looks beautiful to my eyes. View attachment 13278 I don't understand why the motor cover looks pink in cockpit view (I tried HDR on and off with no result, it happens on every track I have tried). Thanks a lot.
