Converted this beauty from a custom ACC livery, already asked the creator for permission to share it
I'm glad to see some painters starting to work on some IMSA skins for the new DLC pack. It is something that has been lacking a bit the last few years. Here is two fillers that I needed for the 2020 and 2021 seasons.
#10 Konica Minolta - IMSA 2020
Winner of the 2020 Daytona 24 and the Petite LeMans. 2nd place in the 2020 IMSA Championship. I didn't recall seeing this done on the S397 Cadillac. Used the S397 #1 Cadillac as a base. I'm not the best with material settings or creating icons. If someone is able to improve or make icons, I'll get it updated.
#5 JDC-Miller MotorSports - IMSA 2021
Winner of the 2021 Sebring 12 Hours. Used the S397 #5 skin as a base, which was the 2020 version. Minor changes but changes none of the less. Using the S397 materials works. Again, I'm not great a the icon building, so no icons in this one. Upload coming tonight. I found a mistake
I know with everyone doing skins, there hasn't been a "standard" for set up of classes and naming convention. If there is a better suggestion or format, please let me know and I'll add it to the next update.
I'm about to go on a 2 week work trip. So I was hoping to work on some more IMSA skins when I get back.
Nice work, thankyou. My personal way is, Description = "Team Name - Driver Name", I remove all classes except the default classes where ever it is possible, I just prefer just having the car listed, having all these classes listed just makes finding opponents a real pain in the ass. The list just gets longer and longer every time a class is added, another problem with classes is you sometimes get cars from different mods when you select a particular class. Another problem with classes is if you select a particular class you may only get one or two cars which is another annoyance with classes. I know some people will not agree with this method but it's what I prefer.
IMSA 2021 - #5 Uploaded.
I was having some upload problems, so hopefully it isn't corrupted
For me, when the Endurance Series mod by Enduracers was released, I followed along with their naming convention, description and class structure. For me, it made it easy to find in the menus, both in the car selection menu and finding the AI classes. It worked well for me, but I'm pretty sure I was the only person doing it that way.
I dropped you some preview icons in the support thread for the Konica, gonna do the same for the JDC car when I’m back on my workstation.
Made possible by the wonderful toolset of @Slow Motion and @redapg
Fantastic! Thanks. I'll see if I can get them added in tonight.
How did you convert acc skins?
I guess it only works for the M4, it shares the same model with ACC, UV map contains the same parts, just in a slightly different size and in different locations.
Edit: For the 650S GT3 it will work too, but unfortunately there is effectively only one set of liveries inside the game (the gorgeous Garage 59 Ali Baba liveries as #58 and #188) and there are only very few custom liveries out there. I might try to reach out to Kunos for permission to migrate the Garage 59 (along with maybe the Samantha Tan BMWs), but I'm rather pessimistic for that.
The prototype livery guy hasn't been online on RD since December, so that is on hold. For the Dubai Schubert livery I contacted the creator, but didn't get reply so far too.
I'm rather sad there doesn't seem to be much interest in rF2 as bringing stuff over would be a relatively minor task.
Team Hardpoint GTD Porsche from 2022
Walkenhorst livery - WIP
Schubert livery - conversion from ACC, permission granted, WIP, almost done
BMW Prototype livery in different variatons, original author has still not been seen since December
Tatuus F4 T-021
#00 fantasy livery
I think you could add more black contrasting parts (like the inside of the back wing, you gave on the red sign off model)
S397 Cadillac DPi 2020 Corona
Here's my Cadillac skin.
An updated at RaceDepartment. Front Splitter now painted and a couple of other bits added.
First batch is up at RaceDepartment
Schubert Motorsport Dubai 24 Hours 2022 #30 - converted from tatit's Assetto Corsa Competizione livery
Walkenhorst Motorsport Asian Le Mans Series 2022 #34 and #35
including an Ukrainian colours version #36 inspired CAYMANSTAR123's Assetto Corsa livery
One more IMSA 2022 car almost done. Again, using the S397 2021 version as a base.
That livery looks amazing
