Porsche 911 Cup car coming to rFactor 2!!!!!!!!!!!!

Again, the car in ACC is not the Cup car. They are actually quite different and it makes no sense to compare your GT3 times in ACC with this upcoming rF2 car. The only proper modern spec Porsche Cup cars are in AC and iRacing, wich just shows that there is a severe lack of those.

Not exactly correct - ACC has the GT3R and the Cup car aswell

I found there's not enough off throttle oversteer :p

Concerning the bounciness - I bet it's gonna be setup as in all other sims ie. super stiff. And then people complain it's understeering. The thing is the stiff setup makes for an easier drive (less crashing) but it introduces gobbs of understeer. From my experience the 911 are way more enjoyable when you loosen them up a bit - softer ARB at the front, softer springs at the front, let the chassis roll more and it's fun like nothing else.:)
IMO the bouncy is in the nature of the cup car. Because after driving it for first time in acc i thought the same thing that it bounces over bumps and kerbs alot.
The general setup of 911 is exactly what you are saying soft at front and stiff at rear otherwise the car is just understeer machine.
Although softening the front may cause entry oversteer but in my eyes that's fun and fast.
I rather prefer less stable but fast car than stable but slow car.

At least we can agree on something :p:D;)

Maybe not as much as lift off oversteer, as engine braking at low gears, very much.

To me it was the strangest how the drivers yesterday kept attacking the kerbs with a car stiff like that. I know they are all very good drivers, but IMO it looked unnatural to drive such stiff car over the kerbs of Nordschleife, perhaps they can, perhaps aliens can.

Yeah indeed it looked overly bouncy and stiff. I hope it's just an extreme setup thing and not some bad trait in the virtual cars behavior. But yeah the aliens - sometimes I get the feeling that it doesn't much matter for them what they drive - they could literally drive a brick and they would be fast in it :D

The same as in other sims but with years of delay. I think that innovating a bit in the content would differentiate from the others and attract new players

Just a video to watch, for no particular reason.

Personally I am not impressed nor by the track, nor by the car driving on it. But it is hard to judge the car, overall looked really alive and playful, just the way it was gettign such huge hits and still somehow performing looked weird.

I think Nordschleife is a weird track - I mean it's very unusual and you don't get to see curbs that are half a meter high nowadays so we're not used to see racing cars flying over bumps like that. Plus the 911 are bouncy and lively by nature - that's why I love them.

Yes bouncy, but realistically bouncy. You made a thread about rF2 replays, I think the external cams for live realtime coverage counts there also, I think it may have played a role why it looked "funny" at a times.

Race room?

Meh, not what I'm looking for, but it's cool that rF2 is getting official popular content that it has lacked for so long.
