Seriously, though, this is an interesting topic to me b/c if there are hardware limitations to overcome then it seems that this is where the art vs. math comes in like NKP is so good at. When you get into an NKP car, it just feels right and it's creator is unapologetic about it. So, if have to fudge steering lock b/c hardware limitations then why not fudge everything and get it right so that my PERCEPTION of the inputs I am giving the car and my PERCEPTION that the car is responding as expected and my PERCEPTION that the limits of the car and ability to exceed them and the ability to correct when limits are exceeded, etc. etc. etc. are all impressive. And, yeah, I know you're going to say then it's all fake or you can't control people's perceptions and that is true sort of but that is what makes NetKar Pro and other great works of art so amazing is their ability to do something that you may not be able to prove or quantify or calculate. NetKar Pro did this. I've never heard a single person ever criticize NetKar Pro's physics and experience. It's simply that good. Entire universities were dedicated to trying to teach the secrets of Bach and counterpoint, etc. but the greatest thing about it is that it couldn't be done. **** that Bach wrote that fish ended up being wrapped in (and goodness knows how much stuff was lost forever) was worlds beyond anything that ever came out of the universities that tried to crack the code and no one can explain why but when you turn on your iPod or listen to a live performance you know it's special. Come on ISI, you can do it. Step away from the calculator, take a couple of days off, smoke some paoti (spelling? LOL) and get back to it from a fresh perspective. Oh yeah, and buy out Kunos. LOL

Not sure where you got that. NKP is not even in the poll. NKP comes to mind b/c people are fudging steering lock b/c hardware limitations of sim technology and that seems to make sense to me, so why not fudge other things too? And this is what NKP does well so that is an example. Is that too complex to follow?

 

Put brake topic to Wiki from modding help section, that would be useful, important and great thing for whole community, much better than arguing

Interesting b/c what I hear from others is that #3 (at least the feel part) and #2 strict math require a balancing act. Regarding #1 it seems that #3 would help #1 more than #2 would but not sure about that.
