    FWD Championship

We will also be running a fun FWD Championship that will reward those of us without a life.

All of your scores from the Clio Cup and BTCC Championships will be added together (no drop weeks at all), and the driver with the most points at the end of the season will be declared the Pitlanes FWD Champion.

Finally, if anybody else would like to sponsor a trophy of their choice for anything else (most improved driver - biggest tosser - most dangerous driver etc) please feel free to do so. Just let us know what you want to do and how you want us to work the winner out and we will see what we can do.
    Trophies
This is the first time we have awarded trophies for championships hosted by us. We know that participants are from many countries, worldwide. We will communicate with the winners of the trophies at the end of the season so to make this as seamless as possible.

All costs are being picked up by members of Pitlanes.com and anyone else who would like to award a trophy for something of their choosing.

    Weather
After a vote on the Pitlanes.com forums, it has been decided that some (not all) of the rounds will feature changeable weather. Nothing crazy but maybe a shower at the end of practice to provide a drying track for qualifying. Or a bit of rain towards the end of the race to spice it up a little.

Weather will be set on the server for up to 7 days prior to the league event so there will be no surprises. If you do not get the practice in, don’t moan when you arrive and the weather is a surprise to you. The weather will also be posted on weekly threads on the pitlanes.com forums.

    Registration
At Pitlanes.com in recent seasons we have operated an open server policy. We held a vote on the Pitlanes.com forums. With the inclusion of trophies the vote came out 50/50 so I am taking the decision to password the servers.

We have some loyal drivers now. While I would like to continue to promote us as a welcoming community (we really are) I don’t want a random to wreck someone who is fighting for the title and trophy, because the race means nothing to them.

To that end, we require you to register on Pitlanes.com and speak up in the thread about these series and announce you would like to be registered.

Race passwords will be posted on the pitlanes.com forums ONLY.

Please only register if you intend to genuinely participate. Having run a registration before, we were over-subscribed but still ended up with about 6 people in the server come the end of the season.

    There are 30 spaces!

**Gingerman Raceway is a payware circuit from James Mabe. Available at http://www.unitedracingdesign.net/ it costs €3.50/$4.50/£2.75. I feel it is perfectly suited to the BTCC & Clio series.
-The track contains 4 layouts, the new 2.14 mi layout that runs clockwise, the shorter 1.88mi old course also clockwise, and two counter clockwise layouts with the short version being how the track was run for many years.
-It supports up to 48 cars with shared pit stalls, or 24 with individual stalls.
-Track makes complete use of RF2's unique features such as Real Road and wet weather.

Please help support this top class mod, purchase and join us for what is sure to be a brilliant race!
