Looking at the video it would seem to me that something is strange regarding inertias. The way the car drifts in the hairpins is a bit arcadish to me.

Let me say something...Im coming from RBR...i have try ALL the rally cars in rF2 (WRC14, Ford fiesta WRC, Toyota celica '92).
And i can tell you the car is the definition of S2000 !!! Physics (from all the simulation of the engine is awesome) are very good and the handling (steering) like the true S2000. This work is fantastic and this coming from a RBR driver !

See the video from a real Peugeot 207 S2000

Don't forget that the mod was originally developed by XXXTeam and it was and, I think, it can be still considered one of the evergreen mods of rFactor1 and 2 in more than 10 years! Of course the additional development for rF2 and the precious help that "Online Tools by Chris" provided, were of great help. I know, I'm not really disinterest in judging the mod, for the reasons I explained in the first post... Thank you for appreciating this mod.

    I have a question...is the steering wheel 540 degrees ?
I mean is the original steering wheel degrees like the S2000 rally car?

    Thank you

unfortunately I have no data about the steering degrees of real car. I set it to 720° looking at few videos... maybe real car could have few more degrees too.

The real rally car S2000 category (and also the WRC) they have 540 degrees.

Well, choosing in the options you can set a different steering wheel system with max 540. Not exactly the same setting of the default system, but good as well.

I'm starting working to update this mod. I let it as last because I want to experiment some idea on off-road vs. track compounds performances...

I'll also update the steering wheel to default value of 540 degrees as explained by @el_capitano

Into the Italian forum there was also a request by @DrivingFast for increasing the power of the car to a fictional level, but sincerely I don't like too much the idea for a couple of reasons:
    - I already added as default option the new engine in the current build like IRL
    - the mod was masterfully developed a lot of years ago by @yoss and XXXTeam and I'd like to respect the original essence of this unique mod

    Thank you

I just recalculated the turbo engine with the Chris' online tools: since the time of the first 207 build, the online tools developed by Chris where improved several times and the last version is of great help for developing a "real" turbo engine!

Obviously I also added turbo hiss and other turbo sounds, but I do not understand what are you asking for: antilag system is something that mainly is not visible or audible...

I guess it depends how anti lag is realized!?
Pls correct me if I am wrong.

bah... in the end we are speaking of some backfire "post-effect" that rF2 still manages and that the mod still has. I don't think it is appropriate for the 207s2000 at the excessive and "unnatural" level shown in the above video.

Here is like usually the 207s2000 behaves:

Of course the video I posted was an extreme example and not technically usefull for the turbo. But in a decent way it's usefull and sounds good.
I guess this excessive anti lag shooting in the video is just for show.....or a how to kill your turbo charger and exhaust system ;)

New build is almost ready with so many improvements that could be considered a new mod... new CPM2 tires for Tarmac, new CPM tires for Gravel class with specific values for off-road surfaces, so, finally, we have an off-road tire that is more performing on grass/gravel than asphalt and of course Tarmac class will be more performing on asphalt than off-road! Unfortunately I didn't find a way to have same behavior for AIs...

More info on improvement at the release

First post has been updated with new build 1.44
    - new turbo engines
    - new CPM2 tires soft / hard / wet for Tarmac class
    - new CPM tires for Gravel class with specific performances for gravel/grass/dirt terrains (it means that on asphalt tires have lower performances closed to real tires)
    - new steering wheel default 540 degrees
    - updated damage file
    - updated talents
    - tuned discglow due new code range
    - added full rain effects
    - added scratchable vs. detachable body
    - added PositionLed Panels

VERY IMPORTANT: this build allows the off-road tire for the Gravel class to behave as expected by this kind of tire, so its performances are mainly for off-road terrains and slower than a slick tire on asphalt, like the tire in use for the Tarmac class. Unfortunately at the moment this feature can be applied only to the "humans", so "AI" performances for Gravel class are not similar.
