I think rF2 looks great, but I'm constantly annoyed when I see the under-car shadows disappear (both while driving and while watching replays). I know this happens on distant vehicles to reduce system load, but is there any way to permanently enable these shadows? Is that something we could do on our end or would ISI need to add that toggle box to the in-game settings?

That's our issue, not yours. The LOD still has to be setup correctly, but no point doing until the tech is in-place.

Maybe one for the wishlist forum but I'd like an option to reduce "Objects" Shadows in favour of keeping "Under car shadows" when lowering the Shadown detail setting, something like LOW with Undercar, or Undercar Only kinda thing.

I know you don't handle the code directly, but what tech needs to be added/updated for the LODs to be refined?

Hehe, sounds like you have a isiforum-search-batch on your desk: Tim/Shaders/Final/New/Developing ;)

But it is indeed a good news Tim. Thanks!
