I can't believe this hasn't been addressed already, but my search turned up no results in the Bug Reports forum. Initially noticed with the URD mods everywhere, but was verified with the Skippy at Toban. Changing values in the player.json does not seem to affect the result (maybe the critical values lie elsewhere?). When creating a vmod, a default.rfm is used (created?) which has (an absurd version of) Parc Ferme on by default. Yes there are work-arounds if you want to spend extra time with it, but this appears to be an obvious mistake introduced a couple builds ago, and needing to be corrected by ISI. Aside from freezing setups, and enforcing an arbitrary (and very disruptive to close racing) blue-flag rule, the fact that identifies this as an obvious mistake is that the parc ferme rules do not allow you to adjust your pit stop fuel intake. So, for example, if you go into a race thinking you're going to need to add 30L to your original fuel level, but in fact you need to add 35: If you were being safe and set you're garage strategy to add 40, you wind up spending unnecessary time in the pits while it loads more fuel than you need. Conversely, if you set strategy for 30L and find you actually need 35, you'll need to make 2 stops: one adding the pre-planed 30L (because you can't request 35) and a second that adds another 30L (because you can't tell it you only need 5 more). This can't have been planned. The default rfm, i would think, should have flags at a show but not penalize, and parc ferme off with options to adjust.
And just in case the mods think its only one guy: http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.p...Flag-penalties-change-required-for-next-build
Looks like they threw us a bone !~! parc ferme=0 off blue flags set to 1 = show but no penalty , this was default rfm from a B930 vmod .. Thx Devs !! ;-)
