Pace car blocking pitlane

..as above - there's a Corvette pace car blocking the pitlane on several tracks (Ie. Limerock and others).

How can i prevent it from spawning?

 

can we see a screenshot of that ?
the Pace car is always parked outside the line in general...

 

Not at Lime Rock... you're trying to shortcut the route from paddock to pits. Follow an AI car and you'll see the correct route.

 

Ah right you are - i'd been using that route anyway but thought it was a workaround.

Still, it's getting in the way for other tracks - eg. suppose there was a laser-scan of a legendary German circuit, with a fat pace car wedged into the railing right by the pit exit.. without condoning such a possibility, obvioushly.. that would be kinda annoying, tho, i'd imagine..

 

It's up to the track maker to define SC position correctly, it's not something the game decides to place randomly.

 

Go left of the fire truck at lime rock for a shortcut.
