old vs new ui fps

i get better fps with old ui, so is it still being supported? also the Ford Focus ST has no engine sound using old ui.

 

No, new cars won't work on old builds. It's not just the UI that's old, the build itself (the code that runs the game) is also outdated.

Why should they fix this? The older builds aren't supported anymore. It's the same with every software, just look at good old Windows XP.

 

No no no. no to the thousandth time squared. The old ui is done, caput, it is deceased. Passed on. It is not sleeping, it is not dormant. No further work by S397 will be done on any of the three old UI's. The further down the line, less and less of the sim will work with the old UI as content evolves beyond the technology level where the old UI was abandoned.
regarding the Ford Focus, any new car released from about the Summer of 2022 will most likely not have working sound. Those newer cars, such as the BTCC, Indycar, Mini Cooper, GTE & GT3 cars all have been upgraded to a new sound engine that apparently is not compatible with the old UI.
