Hi Community, I have a question about offline racing, which always bothers me. Unfortunately, if I want to start an offline race with 20 or more opponents, I cannot choose which vehicles and how many. Is it only possible to choose the groups of vehicles (audi, Ferrari GT3, etc and Rfactor chooses the amount of the selected groups itself, or is it also possible to say that I am Audi 3 times, Ferrari 3 times, Porsche 3 times , etc. can choose beforehand? thank you for your help
Unfortunately there is only one way to do so, which is quite long and annoying: you have to enter alone in the race and from the race itself add AI for every single car opponent you want. One by one.
Thank you for your help. That's exactly how I do it and I was hoping there is another way. Too bad. Thank you!
Try this. It does exactly what you're after I think. You'll need to be using the old ui. Steam, games, right click on rfactor 2, properties, betas. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=554544322
You don't need to go to the old ui to do this. The MAS2.exe is in the same folder as always ..\rFactor 2\Support\Tools\
Thanks lagg. Ive only owned rfactor 2 for 3 days. Rapidly getting up to speed with it I figured out that you can create a desktop shortcut to it which is even more handy
Also the log analyser is flipping amazing! I havent done anything except install it and have a brief look but Ive created a fictitious clio cup series and mirrored that in the analyser. Just about to do my first race. @Vanisch thats probably worth a look if you havent already.
The problem with this, which at first I was so happy to discover, is that for my understanding, once something in the championship is updated, you will have to create the championship again with the updated version of the content.
Yes that's correct. You don't have to completely redo it, it's possible to just update the relevant items.
