I was pointed in the direction of this simulator as a possible way to emulate a vehicle ECU and have it send data to an OBD2 device for data transmission to an external server. We are considering using rFactor 2 as a demo for a 4G tracking device we have, but before I got too deep I thought I would ask the community if it had been done before?
