I am working on a car mod, when loading them into RF2 Devmode, i get the error message that the sound files are Stereo and need to be Mono. I realise this was implemented in the last update. I have succesfully converted the sound files to Mono.The error has been removed, but in game i have full internal sounds but no external sounds. My question is does the save format of the sounds have to be a specific format ? for instance 32-bit float, signed 16 bit PCM or something else ? further to above, i added the original EXT sounds to my new SOUNDS.MAS and everything works as it should.Still leaves the question as to what format perhaps they should be saved in.
