No sound after leaving pit stall

Any ideas of why my sound disappears after leaving the pit stall. Works fine while sitting in stall. Thanks

 

Currently with sound issues, first thing to do is go to Settings -> Sound and check the number of effects. It is sometimes resetting to 1, which means you hear hardly any effects. Change it back to 64 and should be good to go.
