Maybe it's just me, I'm using a very old wheel (Microsoft Sidewinder) but once you put the car into 1st gear you can not go back into neutral or reverse, you can however get into reverse from neutral on the starting grid. If you wreck straight into a wall or need to turn around your done. Anyways excellent so far! Thanks ISI
That hasn't really changed since rF1. You need to select Neutral before you can select Reverse (or go from Reverse to First for that matter).
I am using the paddle shifters, the gears shift up and down just fine, but in rf1 once you get back down to first then it goes to neutral then to reverse, it doesn't even let me get back into neutral now.
Sounds like you have a key assigned to neutral. If you have a key assigned to neutral, you have to press that to get into neutral, then go to reverse. If you don't have a key assigned, you can go from first > neutral > reverse.
Thanks BDM93, that was it, I accidentally mapped a key to neutral instead of the clutch like I wanted to do.
