    Hi all,

Sorry but i don´t know inwich section where to put this post,
I guess admins will relocated it, thanks.
Please, notify me where section you moved it, i need to follow it to find the solution.
( team members, from now , not accept incoming p. message and i need a solution).
please don´t remove the post until it´s solved.

rFactor2 doesn´t recognizes my user nickname, (unknown player).

I tried to change rfactor.name, user.PLR, etc, without success.
I emailed 'rfactor.name' to Gjon, (..now he is trying to help, thanks Gjon!).
I would like to ask you, In wich directory i must install rFactor2 beta using W7 x64 bit o.s.?

    C:\Programfiles(x86)\rFactor2 ("C:\Archivos de programa (x86)" in spanish)
C:\Programfiles\rFactor2 ("C:\Archivos de programa" in spanish)
    Outside program files? eg: c:\rFactor2

when i setup simulator, (resolution, language, etc), there is no language selection to choose

when i installed in default Dir, "C:\Archivos de programa (x86)\rFactor.."

    I have installed both o.s. on my PC: -w7 x86 and w7 x64. ( spanish language )
Must i install rFactor2 in x86 to avoid errors?

Is There a rFactor x64 executable or especific x64 based installer i must use?

    --any help will be apreciated--

    Regards.

Did you try to log in multi player checking the "remember" checkbox?
Possibly it will change your status from "Unknown" to your real name (no nickname)

    Yes, but no succes.

    I installed rFactor 2 in a windows 7 x64 Spanish version.

¿ Do you know where Dir to install it in x64? i mean: outside "program files" dir, eg: 'c:\rFactor2'
    or inside: 'c:\Program Files (x86)\rFactor'

( In spanish o.s. version the Dfeault Dir its: 'c:\Archivos de programa(x86)\rFactor')

I don´t know if its a uncompatibility problem...

    Thanks Max.

by default rFactor will install in the Program Files (x86) ... kind of logical, since rFactor 2 doesn't come as a 64-bit Version ...
Windows 7 64-bit OS has both Program Files & Program Files (x86) ...
You say you have both 32-bit and 64-bit OS install on your computer ... and on two Partions, but why ...? The Windows 7 64-bit OS runs 32-bit as well as 64-bit Program (Games)

Mine installed in Program Files (x86) ... and no errors at all ... btw I have only Windows 7 64-bit OS and nothing else ...
