Hello, I recently installed windows on an SSD as opposed to my HDD. After wiping everything clean i decide to install rFactor 2 on my HDD but when I try to play no cars load at all and i am getting mesh and dds errors all over the place. I checked my Documents and there is no rF2 folder. Is this because i have Windows on a separate HDD to rFactor2? I don't really understand this so i apologise for the vague explanation. I will try my best with any suggestions thanks.
All rFactor 2 folders are now in one place - steamapps/common/rFactor 2. I assume you've installed the Steam version?
Yes I have, I have just checked Userdata. What might be the issue is that i have no Cars installed in the userdata folder. But i cannot uninstall them from the launcher because Steam downloaded them automatically . I decided to Unsub from all stock content and then sub back to it. Hopefully this fixes it.
Check where your package is located.. where does the content get install I am not in front of my computer but probably that the car get installed at the wrong place and when you launch the game it look at the wrong place... At the bottom of the mod manager you should see an active directory, where is it pointing ?
I had started its multiple times last night and this morning after a full PC restart. Just got to the end of downloading all the subscribed content again so i will see what goes...
