I always have to wait for "updating packages" whenever I fire up rFactor2 and after the process is done, no cars and tracks exist. Same thing happens even if I uninstalled and reinstall rFactor2. I even deleted the rFactor2 folder inside steamapp folder. Could someone kindly help me out?
Same for me. Unable to play after recent update. Click on "all cars and tracks" and it does nothing. Only can play one track with vw beetle. Click on all cars and tracks, switches to packages screen, click on all cars and tracks, bumps me out.
I uninstalled rF2 and reinstalled storage drive from C Drive to other drives like D drive and it is solved now. Such an irritating and shame issue rF2 is causing. No reply from developer even I emailed them.
I did much the same. Found I had some dregs from old installs, so I unsubscribed to everything, then deleted. Used Ccleaner to get rid of stubborn registry keys. Reinstalled, and I can now pick cars and tracks. Glad you got it to work. Now I have to go resubscribe to everything I deleted...
