Hello. One of our drivers has the Problem that he sometimes doesn't see any other car on the Server. He doens't see us and we can not see him. We did a lot of things to solve the problem, checking the player.ini too, but nothing worked. Has anyone of you have an idea? PC is new installed. Thanks for help an tips. See you
It can't be Spectator Mode as you say it happens sometimes (but check anyways) It could be latency, what are the pings of you guys and him? anything extreme going on at those times? is it a home pc as server?? (is perhaps struggling to keep up and then you get these big spikes) or a dedicated server struggling? increasing the up/download speeds could help, for both the server and your driver. for him he needs to set it in the server browser I think. it does sound lag related so I would look into that for sure, anything you can do to make it run smoother. and see if he has the same issues on other servers, some users have obscure lines or are from outerspace and they can just be suffering by default and in doing so make everyone else suffer as well because its usually about combined pings that dictate a session, not so much individual lines going in and out.
Isn't there an option to indicate 'high ping' players in the json? Sure there is in rF1?Did it carry over?
the problem is on other servers to and all server are dedicated. I will check the ping in the race. Thx Nostra
