When I go to race my Nick name does not show. It says nick name unknown. How do I get it to show? Also, is there a plr file and if so where is it located. Thanks
There is a Player.JSON file located in your (rFactor2 folder)\UserData\player\ folder. Edit the line: "Player Nick":"your desired nickname", .
I would suggest to try it with running the Launcher "as Administrator". The Name is taken from the rFactor.name file i guess and overwrites the player.JSON entry. And maybe, if you don't run the Launcher as Administrator, the Launcher don't has enough rights to edit the player.JSON file.
