    Hi,

Newbie with some questions. Apologies if dopey or been done to death before. Emailed tech support first, but have not received a reply.

Essentially, I 3D scan cars and create/modify them in CAD as a day job. Probably using incorrect phrases to search, as cannot find much, but is it possible to take a 3D scan of a car, including dynamic elements, and create something I can put into rFactor 2?

Idea was to use one of my own cars to study in depth to create a model to have some racing online with and compare to how it is in real world.

    Any help appreciated.

Yes it is. First step is to grab the measurements of the suspension points (ride height, chassis attachments, wheel hub attachments) and the second step is to turn the scan from points into a 3D polygon mesh of no more than 200k triangles.
