Newbie, cant get the demo to run

    Hi there, Im keen to give sim racing a go.

    I just downloaded the demo and it installed without issue, whenever I try and run I get a quick loading icon and nothing happens, no processes seem to be running.

    I have tried uninstall and reinstall and the same issue happens.

    Win 8.1 64bit

    Any troubleshooting I can try ?

    Got it to run via the launcher in the install directory, for some reason the start menu / desktop shortcuts don't work

    Change the shortcut so that the "Start In" folder is "C:\Program Files (x86)\rFactor2\Launcher" and the shortcut works again.
