Just signed up and purchased rfactor2. whI downloaded the main software and 1 or 2 cars. when the main screen comes up with simulate,etc on it, nothing happens with most of the icons. How do I start using it. with iracing it has been very smooth sailig, not so with rfactor so far. Thanks!!
I think he has activated but is yet to install the 1 or 2 cars he has downloaded. 1. You can download ALL ISI content in one torrent. http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/8590-Download-All-official-ISI-content-(torrent) 2. Once you have those in packages folder open Launcher and click on MANAGE MODS ( Mod Manager ) *** You will have to browse for Packages folder if you have moved it elsewhere. IE: On Launcher bar select File \ Set Mods Path.... 3. Right click all series one by one and INSTALL. Right click any series that has a * next to it to UPDATE. 4. Click Options unpick show mods only and make sure everything in that list says installed YES. 5. Test. 6. Now Download ALL tracks torrent and repeat same procedure in mod manager ( options/show mods only ) http://isiforums.net/f/showthread.php/7103-Download-All-locations-(torrent) Online you will click GET MOD to join a room and auto download a small file ( 128kb-1mb) or you should be able to find a room related thread or just ask where to find the Mod if GET MOD fails. Any open room with only ISI content you will not need a mod to join.
