I recently upgraded my computer....now running Windows 8.1. I did a fresh install of rfactor 2 and now I can't get the mods to show up in mod manager. I download the files like before, put them in packages, go to mod manager when I start the game and nothing shows up to be installed. I'm not real computer savvy...what am I missing?

'Components' checkbox ticked? 'Loc' (for locations) and 'Mlt' (for multicomponents - that is most of the vehicles) buttons activated? Also make sure 'Packages Dir' in the bottom right corner points to the correct folder.

Click components at top left. Tracks will show with loc on, cars with mlt on.

It would have been exactly the same, you just wouldn't have probably had to go from the default selection like you did today.
